Turkey has recently established and announced a 10 year plan in defense field, “Target 2023” in 2013 by which aims to produce his own fighter plane and convert Turkey into one of most important  the defense technology exporting countries in the world. Turkey’s annual defense technology export capacity has reached 2 billion USD by the end of 2017, exporting to over 40 countries worldwide.

Ankara, the capital, has eventually become the heart of defense sector and it hosts defense companies, working on 400 different national projects with a total value of 35 billion USD and some of whom are already in the world’s top 100 defense companies’ list.
