Communiqué on Procedure and Principles Regarding the Application to the Data Controller (“Communiqué”) was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on 10.03.2018.
Pursuant to the Communiqué, any individual whose personal data is being processed may apply to the data controller at anytime. The applications shall be delivered to the data controller in the below mentioned written forms:
- Via registered e-mail address,
- Via secure electronic signature,
- Via mobile signature,
- Via e-mail address which was previously given to the data controller
- Via a software or an application which is generated for the applications.
The date controller shall finalize the applications at the earliest convenience and in 30 days time latest upon the receipt of the application without any cost or charge
The data controller may reject the application by providing the grounds for rejection in written or may accept the application. The response shall be delivered to the applicant electronically or in written form.
